A 38 hectare field at Bottom Plain farm is now home to 40,000 solar panels. The installation, a joint venture between Bouygues Energies & Services and Abakus Solar, will generate enough power for 2,500 homes and save 4,300 tons of CO2 every year.
One hundred workers from ten countries around the world descended upon rural Dorset to begin their high-tech work. Bouygues commissioned Construct Films to photograph the works throughout the five months duration. Our custom camera equipment, designed and built in house, beamed back the high quality images from the Canon SLR to our server, with no issues and did not miss a single image. Monthly video updates were sent to the project management team, who could also login to our online Archive system to see every 6 megapixel image in full detail.
